Why oh why won't my D16 die!!!
I just thought I should let the world know a bone stock D16 with extremly high mileage can be beaten and pushed to the limits without breaking if properly tuned. I recently bought a used 93 Ej2 civic with 180k miles and I decided to build a custom turbo set up. I've been driving the car for 4 months now on 20psi of boost
and the thing just won't die!

T3t4 50 trim, All custom top mount header, 3in. DP, 2.5 inch charge pipes, small intercooler
turbonetics WG, RFL BOV, engine management is SDS EIC-4, with a BTM, talon oem FP, 8 oem civic injectors.
We were just out boosting again and we thought we'd bring along the camera. check ou these pics and vids.

Links don't work for me, goes to the photobucket homepage?
That's impressive though, how much power is it making and on what fuel? Could you post the dyno chart? What kind of filter is that on the turbo?

Any more info on the setup, like ems or general amount of timing retard? 20psi on pump gas is good just by itself, the fact that its on a stock D with a t3/t04... thats amazing.

BTW thats all with stock lines, fuel rails and FPR. Manegment is SDS extra inj. controller 4, with a msd BTM @ .75 degree retard per pound.

Stock honda map with a missing link idles perfect at 900rpm, and the EIC-4 has an internal map good up to 22 psi we've gone as much as 21 psi no probs.
