In order to remove the upper,lower and tie rod balljoint what size pitman arm puller do you need to use ? Also in order to unload the joint what should I jack up the frame or LCA ? And after removal is alignment required ?

 

I dont know about the pitman arm puller, but I do know as long as the replacement equipment is of the exact length alignment isn't necessary.

the one i already have has a 27mm opening ??? is that too small ? Do I need another one 32mm regardless ?

 

Helms says you will need 28 and 32mm. Go to a local auto parts store and rent a ball joint removal kit.

 

so with a 27mm and 32mm pitman arm puller i should be able to get the tie rod, upper and lower control arm balljoints correct ?
