Default White Eg, JDM typeR swap, New cage, New paint, Kevlar Bucket, Check it out!!

Hey guys, So here's the story, I originally had a red coupe with some bolt-on's and a JDM typeR swap. Didn't have the swap long begofe i came across a very clean EG Hatch That is super clean, it was garage kept since 95, and has ZERO rust!!!! It was too clean to pass by and allow somone to daily drive it. So i bought it about 5months ago, and swapped in the JDM B18C motor held by polyeurethane motor mounts, exhaust is full 3" stainless Steel Thermal R&D with a delete pipe, AEM short ram, Skunk2 adjustable cam gears, cooled by an aluminum halfmount fluidyne radiator, then threw in a Custom 8-point cage, got some TEIN suspension, Riding on some Bronze Rota C10's, a VIS carbon fiber Hood, carbon fiber duckbill, carbon fiber airbag blockoff tray. As well as a decent wire tuck, relocated the battery and fuse box, Stripped interior and painted it, Installed a MemFab Kevlar bucket with sparco rails, Momo Wheel, B&M short shifter, 3" autometer sportcomp tach. There is alot of other misc. things, but its come a long way in a short time, So lemme know what you guys think, I am open to all opinions, however i would appreciate withholding any unnecessary flaming, So please feel free to post any suggestions on fututre mods, opinions, and/or ideas. Enjoy.

Here is the engine bay as i bought it, before i began working, tucking, etc.

Then it was time to pull two motors and make a switch. Pulled the motor out of the now gutted coupe as it will be getting painted and threw it in the Hatch. R.I.P to the red coupe which will become an excellent daily driver.

This is what the engine bay looks like now, with the motor, wire tuck, battery and fuse box relocation, radiator, etc.

The following pics are leading up to the install of the cage. Stripping the interior, including the sound deadening, excessive seam caulk, rear seat brackets, paint were the cage was soon to be welded.

The following pics are of the welding and installation of the cage. Complete with beautiful welds.

The following pics are of the interior being painted, first primed then painted.

The following pics are of the interior with the battery box, seat, etc. put back in.

The following are just misc. pics of the car.

The first 5months have been quite productive and i hope to continue to continue as such, i will next be moving onto the motor, I can't wait to tear into the motor and gain some major ponies.

So once again, please leave a post with some comments on the progress and let me know what you think, Looking forward to it. THanks, in advance,
-Jake

Thanks for the comments guys, as far as my future plans for the motor, I hope to get boost as soon as my college budget will allow, Leaning heavily on a PeakBoost kit to make a lil more power by running low boost until I am capable of building up the internals and better preparing it for more boost.
