Question about Koni Yellows
I have a feeling I might get flamed for this...
I made a awful mistake awhile back ago by getting ebay coil overs and putting them on my stock shocks (bad idea). I have skunk 2 camber kit in the front and rear.
Im getting Koni Yellows soon, does it really matter what kind of spring I have when I have a really good shock?? I was just wondering what you guys think. Any info would help.
I might get Ground Control Coil Overs down the road but I think my ebay coil overs will work fine for now.

You'll just want to limit your spring rates to about 450 max. Usually the ebay coilovers come with something in that range, so you should be ok. If you want to go over 450, you'll need to get the Konis revalved, or buy Koni RACE shocks.
The spring rate that Konis Yellows can reliably handle seems to be anywhere in between 450-650, as far as I've read and heard. I'm running a 500 lb spring on them with no problems so far, and I'm going to see if I can get away with a 600 lb spring pretty soon.
I'd bet your eBay coilovers use the same 2.5" ID spring that Ground Control uses. If they do, and you want some good springs, but you want to save a few bucks, you could just pick up some used Eibachs. Take a look at the used spring thread in the Road Racing forum, here. There are always some kind of Eibach race springs for sale. I just bought a pair for $65. If you want to order a new set of Ground Controls, that'll cost you $340 directly from them.
