ok, heres what i think (honestly)

A good clutch setup for about 400whp.

ACT XXtreme duty PP with a 4 puck unsprung disc, or a 6 puck unsprung.

ACT XTR6 - Xtreme pressure plate and a 6-puck unsprung disk

That worked well for me on my >400 WHP B16 setup. I slipped it a lot and generally abused the hell out of it for a year or so, no problems.

thanks alot guys for the input much appreciated but do those six puck discs cause any pemature wear to a flywheel by the way this is going to be a daily street driven car so it must be able to be drivable in traffic

The XTSS holds 319ftlbs... that should get you around the 400whp marker on a GSR.

depends on what his plans for the car are also.

If hes just going to be running around the streets on a standard 205/50/15 street tire then he should be ok with something 'rated' for his setup.. But if he wants to beat it at the track on 24.5" slicks, then he should go overkill a bit. Just my opinion.

ACT Im running a standard 'heavy duty PP with the full organic street disc' no problems yet.. slips a bit sometimes but held up good on 22's.

no it wont be enough dude, dont go with the full organic disc. definatly a 6puck and xtreme plate or heavier.

6 puck ftw even if you go with the sprung clutch. an organic clutch wont hold 400whp well. are you planning to run lsd?

I rock the XTSS with 6 puck unsprung, I daily drive my setup, 400whp, and to tell you the truth I HATE THIS CLUTCH!!!

The engagment is so harsh when your just trying to pull outta somewhere and drive like normal.

I will never get an unsprung clutch again for daily driver use!!!

this is the one im using on my stock motor, lets hope it holds a little more than 400whp once the built motor is ready.

I ask cause I drove a D series turbo Civic that had bad clutch chatter getting the car moving but when the inserts were installed it stopped completely. Made the car much more pleasent to drive.

i have a 6 puck unsprung and the xtreme pressure plate on my integra right now (210whp greddy kit) and engagement isnt harsh at all. it does bang gears when youre revving out tho. the first couple weeks was stiff as hell and gave my calve a workout but it relaxed a little after that and i dont have to slip the clutch to get out of first (unless im running someone).
