Lowering without tha camber kit... is it possible?
Hey guys!
I have a 2000 Teg and now I want to lower it but I dont want to spend a lot of money so I just thinking to get used springs and use stock shox... should I get 1.5'' or 1.8'' or even 2''?

Hi, Id stay away from the ebay coilovers. If you want to run with stock shocks, Id suggest the tein s techs for you car. I spoke with tein, and they designed the s techs to be made speciffically for stock shocks. Try ebay for these, just watch for fakes, theres a link on teins site showing how to tell the difference. Also dont worry about the camber kit, just get your toe set to zero. Good luck.

A quick search for the word "Camber" returns 49 results in the "suspension" forum when set on recent content. 6 of those threads where in the last 10 days. A little searching will go a long way as most people are getting sick of repeating themselves on this subject.
Enough bustin your ballz... No you don't need a camber kit, just get the alignment to correct toe. Also research "reseting your suspension bushings", so they will live a long life...
PS: I would look into getting a higher quality lowering spring than Tein. I like the lifetime warranty stuff like Eibach, H&R & Neuspeed. Any of those will work fine with OEM shocks as well. This is just my opinion. Also, Skunk2 Has a new shortened sport shock for lowered cars that can be had quite a good price. They only have a 90 day warranty though, so it's a bit risky..

Haha, you guys are so rough on people!
The H&Rs Eibachs etcc. are good springs, but their rates are borderline for stock shocks. There is nothing wrong with the quality of Tein, But if the lifetime warantee is an issue than thats something different. The bonus of the S-tech is that the spring rates are onyl 10% stiffer or so than stock, and will get along better with your stockers.
