Default Help!! My headlights won't adjust (adjusters not working) 1996 civic coupe

Hey guys I have aftermarket black housing headlights, by eagle eyes on my 96 Civic coupe.

I tried adjusting them but the adjusters won't move at all, and they can't be siezed cause they're new. A bodywork man told me that most aftermarket headlights on japanese cars come with defunctional adjusters, is this true or is there something else i need to do to adjust my headlights????

hmmm what a coincidence. i just put in some new silverstar bulbs earlier in my headlights and the beams were abit off so i tried adjusting them while i had the hood up. but it seems mines wasn't moving either, they're aftermarket headlights also. but i remember when i first got them, i was able to adjust them. but imma try again tomorrow night.

but i would like to know also how to adjust them if the adjuster thing doesn't work on mines, just in case.

Someone help this man out!!

Thats why genuine Honda lights are 4-500 and knockoffs are 80 bucks. They arent just doing that because they feel bad. They cheap out somewhere.

You can get them to work again but you have to seperate them and make sure it threads into the adjusters.Ask me how I know lol

Most aftermarket headlights have adjusters that do not work. As said a few posts up, if you want to be picky about it, you can take them apart and put them back together so they work right, but if it isn't that bad, its probably best to deal with it.
