I dont know if anyone else came across this but today i put in a HU on my gf's si and the bypass harness from crutchfield taps into the amp wiring loom thats under the drivers seat. When i called crutchfield originally, they had tech info that the amp was under the dash infront of the shifter. I would assume this is for the 2006 civics, cus in the '07 si the SRS module was at that location. I let the tech guy know and he said he would make a note for their R&D guys.

figured id let yall know since the cars are pretty new and im sure someone is gonna come across this.......

 

So your saying the amp is under the driver seat? wow. So did you have to run the speaker wires all the way back the head unit?
