Yeah it looks dinky but if any of you saw the vid of the guy who put a leaf blower on the intake pipe on his civic while on the dyno and made I think like 2whp. You'll understand why someone is trying to sell that thing. Of course they are probably targeting the less knowledgeable kids that are quick to run to their parents to buy it for them.

The Saturn I put it on first really shows a huge response now when I turn the turbo on and now my Civic can pass a Camaro on the freeway!
riiiiiiggghhtt
"Don't buy this. It's junk, a waste of money. It does nothing except create a restriction in your intake."
now thats more like it

why can't some company come up with a electric turbo that actually works. i can't see why the concept wouldn't work and it would add another option to FI. There would have to be a control module that would control how much air it moves and the battery and alternator better be up to the task, but overall it should be possible.
not this that piece of **** of course

Thomas Knight supercharging has down some pretty crazy stuff with E-boost, I dunno if i'd consider it efficient or worthwhile, but if anybody could make it 'good' ,my moneys on them.
Personally, scaming people for profit with a bullshit product?
Honest product=more sales
More sales=more money

There was an article in Sport Compact Car a few years ago where someone had designed an electric super charger. It was on like a Nissan Maxima. It actually worked really well, and made awesome power, but the amount of batteries in the trunk used to power the thing, made the car weigh more than the supercharger made power. Oh well.
Anyway, with those little "gimiky" things, I was under the impression that your car could "suck" more air than they could "blow". Therefore, it would actually make your car run worse.
