Da shift linkage Question??
ok I have heard that you can buy a da shift linkage and cut it down some and have it welded and use it on your bseries EF.
I am wondering is this true and if so how much do you cut off of it?
thanks for your help

I've heard that also - I'm doing a b20 swap this summer and I'm doing exactly that- using DA shift linkage, but i'm getting it welded to fit, and quite honestly I don't know the exact length you're supposed to shorten it. so... bump.
Also, you can buy the precise shift linkage from Hasport Performance if you can't weld.

SEARCH DOOODSS!
Everywhere i've looked it's stated to cut 2 3/8's out of the straightest part of the linkage, but im thinking it really is going to depend on what mounts you use. Some mounts sit the motor farther forward or vice versa.

what, dont you own a measuring tape? depending on the mounts you are using you will need a different length linkage. If you cant even measure I'm sure you cant operate a welder, so try egay maybe you will have better luck buying a set.
