i was wondering if carbon fiber is paintable or not?

just like painting fiberglass. same ****.

To paint carbon fiber and allow the weave to show you will have to use a candy paint. You can also just paint the carbon fiber it self, but why would you want to when you can get just fiberglass and paint it which is cheaper.
