Default Uh Oh better get maaco

My car looked like ***. Complete ***. The guy I bought it from had his buddy paint it in his backyard without doing any prep work. Then I got into a fender bender and the paint couldn't be matched so it looked like ***. I took it to maaco so it would at least look like one solid color. I wanted the new Lexus IS350 gunmetal color but due to this color being the same paint code it came out black. They gave me some money off the paint job and it looked decent so I said screw it and took the car. It has a blue metallic look to it in the sunlight. My pictures of course don't show this but whatever. ALso it's pretty dirty so when I clean it up it'll look better.

All in all the paint job is decent. There is some dust and orange peel but no runs or drips. I think with a good polishing and waxing it'll look a lot better than it does now. Either way I'm satisfied. On to the pics:

It doesn't look bad from the pics, but up close might be a different story. All in all, maaco does the job for a DD. No need for show-stopping paint on a DD.

i asked them about wetsanding, they said i'd burn through the paint if i went to hard core with it. i'll definitely have it buffed to get some of the dust out and even then i think it'll look a lot better.

Give it a year. It will come off. ahaha..

Well, you said they put a sealer down, maybe it will last.. The hood will go first.

Looks good.
