Default b16 swap crx si question

my shifter is really stiff and doesnt feel like its going into ne gear, my michanic said he put new bushings in, will this shifting issue goe back to normal because im quiet nervous that it wont and ill have to deal with that till i sell the car and trust me it sux lemme here it yall

You need to try to be better in telling us exactly what is happening, but being that can be common a shot in the dark is linkage.

What kind of linkage are you using, and what kind of bushings are being used?

he ordered the bushings and the linkage, i have no idea but wen i went to shift to 1st it was really tough to even get the shifter to move and it felt like i wasnt getting into gear,and it feels like 5th isnt even in the tranny at all i have to put loads of force into moving into and gear, wen i had the d series it was a breeze

you may have the bolt too tight that holds the linkage to the shifter, it will make the shifter feel just like you are describing. you can get under the car or put it on a lift and easily ajust the bolt some until you can freely move the linkage back and forth by hand.

Did he lubricate the shifter before he installed it?

ight because i just blew almost 4500 on this swap and i want it to run right, and idk if he lubed up or over tightened anything, but i trust him alot, and ive seen his work, he mostly does sr20 swaps and stuff with nissan but he has a couple hondas in there so i trust him cuz they are very nice
