Default will a reset fix this?

ive had a bad idle for some time. my car was throwing a IACV code so i replaced it. the idle still jumps around a bit. you think if i reset the ecu it would clear the code and realize theres a good valve in there now? id try it right now but i do not have my car with me right now.

replacing parts should always be followed by resetting the ECU.
could it solve it? yes
will it solve it? too many other things involved to say for sure

Definately worth a try. When ive had check engine lights and fix the problem, it goes away by itself. Try it and see what happens.
