last night i attempted to put my b16a into my 88 ef hatch, didnt work so well i have the yonka motorsports mounts and i bashed in the area for the alternator to clear. now i tried putting the enginee it in from the top and my tranny would have to nose dive to get into the mount and the rear motor mount wouldnt go on for anything. any ideas guys? this is my first swap

you need to put the mounts on after it is in place

 

on the rear mount do i leave it bolted to the car and just put the bracket on later?
