xtrac is the choice! They manufacture transmissions to very high standards. It is a flawless trans that will take a pounding. I did the first install of one years ago in Gary Gardella's Civic. Depending on clutch choice there are different bellhousings that are needed. I built the bell housing in gary's car so that we could run a slipper(although the clutch never really worked as a slipper). The starter was relocated to the side of the engine rather then having it hang off the back of the bell so that a clutch access cover could be made and other clearance issues for the clutch. I also built the shifter for several of the cars that ended up running the trans Gary's with a ignition break switch built in and the pthers used strain gauge on the linkage.
i think i will shorten up your search a little bye telling you those trannys are in the neihborhood of 10-15,000 when said and done. on that note are you interested in buying a stock r tranny

do you have a pic of this you wouldn't mind sharing? strain gauge is the same thing as a linear pressure switch that senses push or pulling? thanks.

Because its the only gearsets that are affordable and have been tested by 7 sec cars. They still break a gear here and there but its not gonna get any better for something that utilizes a stock case. Someone like yourself will prolly never break them unless your making as much power as umm only 5 other hondas in the country are.

would liberty gears be good for an all motor application or would sequential be good? im specifically talking b-series. i dont think anyone ever went sequential with a N/A b-series. i may be wrong.
