Default Door Removal

In a bit of a situation here..to completely remove the whole door from the body of the car (including all harnessed and what not) do I have to remove the fender? Basically what is the best way to remove the door, and how would I take out the window? TIA

http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/

you need to make an account and they will have a complete diagram of your door.

You can get the door off with a ratchet, 12" extension, Pivating head (an attachment that allows the socet to be turn on different angles), 12mm Socket.

Then you can snake into the crack where the two bolts are when you ahve the door open. IE yoou dont have to take off the fenders. But It will be a pain in the *** to adjust the doors when you put them back on. And its a two person Job unless you got some blocks of wood to prop up the door so it doesnt fall.

ok i just removed the top part of the fender and just bent it open to get to the hinge screws, worked fairly well..now i did something retarded. the purpose of doing all this was to swap a dinged up door with a nicer door shell, and ONLY the shell nothing else. so now i'm in a dumb spot, so i had the handle with the latch attached and i accidently closed it onto the body, and now when i pull the handle (from the outside) i can't get it open, so my question is, is it locked? or something i can do to open it without reassembling the whole door? how do i open it back up? the inner handle and rods are disconnected and not on the door just the latch with the door handle assembly. thanks for the help dealer leaf maybe you can help me a little bit more

hmm well id say try going in the pass side and removing that panel if its still on, then you should be able to reach the thing that opens the door. itll be a tight fit.

everything is off, it is down to bare metal. the only thing on is the latch mechanism and the door handle assembly. i'd take a pic but it's really dark outside. what part exactly opens the door latch?
