Shift linkage with plastic base instead of metal??
I have a shift linkage supposedly taken out of a 92 Accord coupe. It has a plastic base instead of the flat metal ones that I've always seen. The shifter has a ball at the bottom and it moves the cables....it says Honda on the base, so I know it is from a Honda but I have never seen this type of shift linkage. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or if you know what car this came out of?
Well I have a 98 Accord and I'm doing an automatic to manual swap. I have been told and have read that the shift linkages from the Predlude will work on the Accords and vice verse.
Maybe the one I have is from my year Accord if they started with the plastic ones in 97? But I believe this linkage was from a Prelude because they first said it would be good for an H22 swap....so yea.
