motor bogs at 2k+ rpm

what are all the symptoms on how to fix this problem? i have stock injectors stock fpr and onli thing aftermarket is the fuel rail which is ge. also the gauge is pinging from 1k-8k rpm i have two clusters and both are doing the same thing please help all comments are welcome

Your Tach is jumping around?...

Trying to understand what you mean by gauge is pinging..

I would say check engine timing..

If the timing is good check the spark plugs, plug wires, then your distributor
