i have a b18a with 185.000 miles... should i swap? if so what engine do yall recommend? or should i rebuild and turbo it? and its auto it sucks.. what all i need to do a swap from auto to manual?? please help
yes swap its getting up there in miles. buy a h22 done deal. no dont turbo your engine unless it is in AMAZING CONDITION. You can buy a conversion kit to switch from auto to manual not sure where right now but im sure someone else can help u out with that
what about the xsi b16a complete swap.. or should i go for the gsr or i was thinking about the itr.. but how do you do that when the engines are newer probably the xsi swap would be the easiest right?
dont go w/ h22 ..........i have a 92 DA ,
go w/ a LS/vtec
94+ LS block
94+ GSR head
build them both
get a ecu / tune it ...........you should be fine ..........its up to u ........dont go turbo!

He can rebuild his stock block for an LSVTEC, no need for a 94+ block.
3 options:
1) Do a compression and leak-down test to determine the condition of the current engine, remember it is a Honda and can take miles no problem. Then swap to a manual tranny.
2) Rebuild your engine and swap tranny -- LSVTEC would be nice.
3) Sell your car as-is and buy a Teg with a manual tranny.
4) Swap another engine and tranny combo.
