Default sound deadening material suggestions

I am installing a rear seat and have all the interior out (in the back). Should I apply some dynamat type of stuff to reduce noise?
I am planning on buying some replica bass tubes.
Any experiences / suggestions / ideas?

I would. I mean it could never hurt. I am in the middle of a build right now, I have ripped all the carpet out and removed the factory sound deadening material. I am now going to go back with some dynomat over EVERYTHING, I think it makes everything look minty.

How heavy is that stuff?

Where is the cheapest place to get it?

Is it ok to apply over the factory sound deadening material?

dynamat on every square inch is a big waste. just apply it to big bare spots like the floorboards, doorskins, headliner, etc. its designed to dampen vibration and will do no good in small nooks and crannys. i used to hang out in the local stereo shop so i learned some things

I have heard that High build under coating works good at cutting noise out. I intern at a body shop and thats what they tell me not to spend my money on dynamat just buy some cans of high build under seal
