civic alarm negative window and door triggers help!!
Hi, Im installing a alarm in to my japanese imported 1992 honda civic hatch... so far have everything hooked up and working u(siren. central locking etc) apart from the door sensors and power window..
The Alarm these 2 wires coming out;
One blue black wire labeled "power window negative trigger" (window auto up when armed)
and one blue wire labeled "door negative trigger"
Ive tried running the door sensor wire directly to the drivers side to test it - and obviously a result... but need to find the central location behind the fuse box area for both doors.. I've found several good civic 92 - 95 wiring diagrams but they dont show the locations or are rather vague... the same goes for the power windows on the drivers side door - tested the switch inside the door but can't get both windows to go up automatically when the alarm has been "armed" this is a chinese made alarm but is surprisingly good quality - but very poor on the instructions side of things... have searched net and found v little on this

if your cluster has the car diagram that shows the doors opening individually, then you can catch the wires there. diode isolate them so they dont feed together. or just catch the central wire going up to the dome light, should be in the a pillar. the neg window output is probably for a window module or a car where the door key cylinder rolls the windows up and down.
If the car is a right hand drive, it will be a green/red W/silver dots in white 10 pin connector in fuse box.
If it is a left hand drive, it is a light green/red, behind drivers kick panel trim.
Connecting to the drivers door pin will only get you drivers door, but you already know that, [drivers door pin switch is isolated from pass. door by the ICU, you can connect the neg.(-) door trigger to the green/red going to the dome light, or to the pass. door pin switch.
The power window lead is probably "low current" neg.(-) trigger output, [ground out when armed] you will also need a window module like a DEI 530T.
