What do you do when your car sticks to the road but your butt slides around?

Aside from reupholstering with velcro and dropping your shorts (owch), your only option is to replace those luxurious, bountiful, monstrous things that are bolted to the floor beneath you with something lighter and more snug.
Well that's exactly what I did.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present, for your enjoyment, the much anticipated step towards the completed interior that I envisioned so long ago...fully installed, fully functional, NSX seats. (in my 1995 Legend LS 6 speed Coupe)

I pulled the carpet and had new bolt holes welded to the floor. The seats can be removed and the original holes can be reused for a set of Legend seats if I desire.
I have found these seats are extremely comfortable, and they also fit like a glove - I don't move around at all while I am sitting. They are also quite a bit lower, i would say at least 3 inches. My head now has a lot of room! :giggle:
The only downside I have noticed is with the stock wheel in my current sitting position (which will change as I experiment with the seats) is a little high, this makes it less comfortable to drive with my left hand resting on the top of the wheel (which is a bad habit anyway).
Q&A:
The seats weigh about 30-35 pounds each. This represents approximately 50 pounds savings per seat (iirc).
They are about 3-4 inches lower than stock, including the 1.5-1.75 inch lifted mount in the rear (to level the seats). (this means if you are under 5'9", the mod is probably not for you, sorry! by the by, if you're over a 34 inch waist, I'd say chances are you also cannot use these seats. They are perfect for me and my large as- ahem - seat size.)
These are power seats. They move forward, backward, and tilt, but have no height adjustment, no memory, and no heat.
The seatbelts attach (and are attached) to the same locations as they are on the Legend seats. The bolt is a bit long, which is why it looks like it's hanging. When I install the black belts later this week I will get a shorter bolt so it fits right. There are no 'presenters' because that mechanism is a part of the stock seat.
Installation wasn't too bad really, a few hours of fabbing up some parts, cutting, lining up, and welding. I paid $175 per side for the labor only. There was no parts cost. I reused the inner bolt hole so at some future point I could go back to stock if I want to. (ya right)
Other than that they are perfect! Questions, comments?
cheers!

The rest of the interior is black, except the pillars and ceiling. I am going to dye those early next month. The e-brake will be replaced shortly.
Anything can be done! The seats were easy to find on NSX Prime and I found the fab shop here at honda-tech.

danka danka.
I like them a lot too. I need to get my carpet back in etc, but first I am dyeing some parts black (ceiling etc). Hopefully I will get some more pictures this weekend.
