I want to check the timing on my JDM DOHC ZC but I dont know exactly how.

Default I want to check the timing on my JDM DOHC ZC but I dont know exactly how.

My bro has a timing gun, but I dont know what it should be adjusted to. How many degrees off from tdc? and how do you adjust it to what it should be??

try 16 degrees, set it to 16 degrees and look for the red mark on the pulley move the distributor back and forth until it lines up with that point on the block that has the mark for timing
