Well does a 96 ls have obd1 or ob2.. cuz i was messing with my friend on the street .. and on a rolling start on 1st .. i get him through secong .. and it pulls hard.. but once i get off 2nd .. my third sucks .. and his car pulls on my car ... why >???

 

You have OBD2 (stock)unless you swapped it out. Maybe the reason he pulls on you is because he's a better driver. It might have anything to do with machines.

 

how is he a better driver man .. like i got a short shifter and a **** light and im always on point on my shift .. its just he pass me on third but once we get off at third and go to 4th we are neck on neck ?

 

well if u have the money go buy the parts so u pull him whats all done to ur car and his

his car is OBD2. it may just be either better driver or better motor due to lower miles and compression. I have experienced the same thing with my friends and I have noticed that some motors pull harder than other but it mainly relies on the drivers skill

 

His engine might also be in better shape.

 

dang that really sucks ***.. man my car only got like 84k.. on it he got like 95k.. well yeah people say put the stock wired back on and take of the nology !! u think that will help !! &gt;&gt;

 

Its not whomever has the most parts have the faster car. Other variants like tires, engine condition, driver plays a major role.

what do you have ur shift light set at??....if ur not winding it out in 2nd...when you shift to 3rd its just gonna fall over itself...

I don't see anything wrong with my grammar in that sentence. You could add a comma if you wanted to but it wasn't 100% necessary.

I was referring to his poor spelling and his sentences like "my car only got like 84k.. on it he got like 95k"

Is it another ls just like yours or somethin else? If it's stated in this thread above sorry guys i didn't see it, but i was just thinkin we don't know what your friend drives?!?

1. Injen short ram
2.Nology Wired
3.Dc header 4-2-1
4.full piping skunk2
5.Dc short shifter
6.Stage 1 clutch
7.fuel pressure regulator

Then my friend has a 96 integra rs. The thing that he has are .
1. autozone intake
2.full piping greddy muffler

. Anyway yes me and my friend where not street racing we where on a drang strip.
So yeah why do i get him from 1st through 2nd .. then once i get through third is does not pull really hard .. ?? and ideas why ?

 

so you were on a drag strip huh? Post times including reaction time, 60-ft. time, 1/4 mile time, and trap speed (all for both cars) and then maybe we can help you a little better. This type of info can be quite useful in determining problems with tuning or how well a car is running, or perhaps how good or bad the drivers are.
