Default Whats a good price for an ITR lip??

I'm thinkin about buying an OEM ITR lip. Do you guys think its a good idea or should I go aftermarket?

Also, for the ITR lip, how much should I pay for it? The one I'm looking at is not the same color, so I'd need it painted.

Thanks.

most replica itr lips are anywhere from 100-200 depending on if its new or used. i think an oem itr lip is going to be harder to find and definitely more expensive. i would just go with a replica lip. you can find them almost anywhere.

Any info on going with a replica? The word on the street is to only go with polyurethain (I think). Where can I find a replica though? I've looked around a lot for a quality one, but cant find anything.

well personally, i wouldnt want to buy any lip besides an oem one just because most replicas are held on by 4 screws and double sided tape, and an oem one has sereval mounting points. but if i was going to buy a replica the comptech is the way to go.

Depending on which lip your looking for... 97 ITR lip or 98-01 ITR lip. JDMSHIT.com and comptechusa.com would be my recommendations for a replica itr lip. Expect to pay anywhere from $100-$250 for the polyurethane replica's. OEM lips go for the same price depending on condition....but if you were to buy it new, expect to pay $450+!

Thanks for the replies peoples.

Its for a 2000 GSR.

I'm def. NOT goin with the dealer, cause they said its like $450 or somethin like that.

So there are the options:

JDM **** -- $185 shipped (new):
http://www.jdmshit.com/parts/exterior/98ITRPu/

Comptech -- $249 (new)
http://www.comptechusa.com/store/product1372.html

OEM -- $200-$250 (used)

I think the JDMShit one doesnt look like a bad idea...

Dang that dealer jacked you, I got mine for 122! I am surprised the OP found a dealership that still sells lips. If they have your color you may as well buy it for an inflated price save you the trouble of painting it and you get OEM fitment!

$122? When did the dealership start hijacking trucks for parts and selling them on the open market? You cant even get a used, scratched up lip for $200.

200-300 if it is oem. 100-200 if its a replica. i personally have a replica lip and it fit alright.
