Default Alpine changer for '02 Civic LX?

Would one of those 6-disc Alpine changers work in my sis' '02 Civic LX sedan? She's got the AM/FM cassette head unit in there (no CD). I know my 5th gen lude was plug-and-play for an Alpine changer. It had the changer controls built into it already; all it needed was an adaptor for the changer plug to work. I want to get her a CD player for the car, but an aftermarket head is going to look terrible in that car because the OEM one isn't a DIN size. The Honda brand indash CD is a rip-off from the dealer.

You can use a Alpine CHMS630 changer with the factory deck. In order for the changer to work with the OEM deck, you'll need a protocol adapter that goes between the Alpine and the Honda deck. Blitzsafe makes one. They go for about $70-100 bucks I think: HONALPDMXV3A? or something like that.
