a6 with y8 head....which ARP head studs?
ARP has two different head stud kits for d-series motors:
I. ARP208-4301 Honda D-16 10mm for d16a6 or d16z6
II. ARP208-4305 Honda D16Y for d16y7 or d16y8
A thorough search of the archives gives conflicting reports. Some say use the y8 studs to match the head, some say use a6/z6 studs because the y8 are one inch too short, and some say use a6/z6 studs with one y8 stud near the vtec solenoid.
Need an answer from someone who has actually used ARP studs on an a6/y8 setup.
