Hi i have a 2007 Civic lx and i want to put a system in it and i just wanted to make sure before i go buying everything that all i need to hook up the stock cd player is one of those RCA converter things or whatever they are called. IS this correct. THANKS

 

First of all, you suck at making thread titles...

Second, what do you mean by "sound system"??? I'm assuming you just mean an amp & sub, so yes, you would need a line-out converter if your amp does not have speaker-level inputs.

 

yeah you need the converter (highoutput to low) is a little box...

your head unit will not have the RCAs to plug your amp to....

all you do is tap this converter to the speaker wires...
theres 2 kinds...the 4 channel one and the 2 channel ones...
just get the 2 channel one...
theres instruction with it...

you can install it behind the head unit or you can mount it in the trunk...tap the wires to the rear speakers...and just moun the converter somwhere...
