Well not really. Car has been sky high for a while now. I finally got it all legal today so I lowered it a bit. It's not 0psi slammed, but it's lower. I'm getting too old for crazy low cars anyway.

And here's the real reason it's not any lower than it is:



Any lower and it wouldn't make up my driveway.

And yeah I know the hood doesn't look like it fits. It's actually the fenders that are messed up though. The very front tip of the fenders is bent down. I don't know what from because they're both bent exactly the same. Who knows???

you gota hit the driveway at a slant. yah i used to like the tyoe-r style lips.. now i really like the mugen ones. clean si non the less, go for corner lights next

im pretty sure its that bammered *** lip.

 

Yeah the lip is crap but until I get a new one, it stays on. I can't stand it without the lip. I have orange corners too but I took them off for a state inspection. I'll put them back on this weekend.

 

Wow that lip is killing your whole car. Everything else looks good, I don't even like te-37's but they look good on there.

Ya from the wrong car...

 

Yeah the problem is that I honestly don't care too much about this car's looks. I've got another motor going together for it and then it's coming off the street. I'm street driving it until then so I'd like it to look as good as possible. A different lip is something I'll do just because I can't stand this one, but in the mean time I'm leaving this one on. It looks terrible without a lip at all, it's black under it.

I've never been much for knowing the ins and outs of cosmetic parts though so I'll entertain any recommendations.

Oh, the motor in it right now is a typical poor man's type R. Head's shaved, type R cams, Skunk2 IM, etc etc. The motor going in is....well, more.

Help me out here guys. The more I look at the lip, the less I like it. It bothers me the way it makes the nose "point up" visually. The problem is I HATE it without the lip. Give me some ideas for a different lip, preferably in CF. I'm not on Honda-tech very much so I don't even know where to begin looking.

 

Lose the lip, get a new driveway, and slaaam it!

Clean car...but I think a nice set of corner markers would set it off (amber or the clear/see-thru ones)

 

backyard special jhpusa.com the cleanst carbon fiber lip there is kinda of pricey but well worth it.

I've got amber corners I'm putting on it today. I'll throw another picture up here today. I had to have the stock ones on for the safety check out here and I hadn't swithed them back out yet.

I'm looking for BYS lips all over the place. I'm probably going to pick one up if I can find it.
