i got this 96 integra rs, all bone stock but when i easyly left off the clutch at around 1,500 rpm, it made the car shake like crazy and then off smoothly. what could it be? i was thinking the clutch is not centered to the flywheel or something..

 

any one know ?

 

The clutch had to be centered, otherwise the input shaft for the transmission would have been blocked during installation. Once it smooths out, does it shake any more if you vary the throttle, etc?

Post 4000 for me.

 

how many miles on car/transmission.. was the clutch ever replaced... is this your first standard transmission car...

1500 rpm???, that may be a little low... bring the rpm's up some more and ease into it...

 

nah, i had many 5 spd cars and never had any plms with clutch. the car has 190,000 miles on it and it runs damn good. smooth.
