Default Uneven brake wear

My front left brake started to squeak today and when i checked out the pads i noticed that the front left wore down almost twice as fast as the right one. The right caliper was replaced 4 months ago too. What could be the reason behind this?

I guess if one caliper was harder to push than the other, then the easiest one to push would get the most braking force and wear down the pad more...

i would think maybe your calipers are sticking. could try greasing it up a bit and seeing if that does anything.

i'm gonna try to bleed them when i change them and see if it helps. Also, what part of the caliper should i grease?

grease the floating pin

its where you bolt the caliper to
its the thing that freely moves in an out and has a boot over

one of mine was frozen stiff in the rear
had to take all the dried up grease out and regrease

Easiest way to check all of these is to reassemble it, press the pedal to get everything seated, then try to seperate the caliper from the rotor with a pry bar. If you can seperate them without extreme force, your caliper is good. Then, try to wiggle them back and forth. If they travel fairly easily, your slider pins are good. If it passes those two tests, the problem is with your lines or MC
