Specs on OEM Acoustic Research deck speakers
Yeah, need to replace the rear decks in a 95 civic EX as they were kind of toast. If AR wasn't defunct, I would just replace with those. I'm NOT looking to upgrade as the sound from the original set-up is decent enough for me. I threw in a set of Alpines I had just to have something back there but of course with no amp they sound like *** with any volume (heck, even without volume really...) I just need to match up a set of components but I have no info on the ARs as the stickers are long gone. Thanks! Cheers!
if you are that insistant upon keeping the shitty factory sound then just goto a junkyard.
otherwise to find a set of speakers that will give you about the same factory sound then goto walmart and get those speakers that come in the plastic see-through blister-pack. they sound about the same with their paper cones and crappy surrounds...but unfortunately for you ....they actaully handle more power than stock.

Thank you B18C_EJ8.
jz, this is my workmobile that gets driven 4.5 miles to work where it sits til I get off then 4.5 miles home. I'm in it 15-20 minutes a day. No need for anything else but the "shitty factory sound".
