where did my VTEC go????APEXI SAYS ON...I SAY OFF!!!
ok i got my apexi vafc set at 4500rpms for vtec 2 kick in....but i realized dat i could no longer hear or feel vtec kick in even tho the apexi was reading ON...i have no clue why it happend....new oil and i also cleaned the screen on the solenoid....any1 have any suggestions...BTW im running a b16a2 block...and 98 type r head!!!!thanks for any answers..
My car has da vtech on it. Whatcha wana do is take da sensa off, and spray sum hot sauce in it to give it da kick your looking fur. na mean?

it can be ur apexi vafc my friend had a spoon vtec contoller vtec didnt work took it off vtec worked the spoon vtec con was burned ur vafc can be mest up and wont work just take it off and see

i finally jump da wire for da code.,, and its reading 22 (VTEC system malfunction) but like i said i have no CEL on... wat can i do???

ok here it goes i dont know why apexi did this actually its backwards turn off vtec on the vtec controller, and it will actually turn it on in the ecu memory, same backwards turn it on in vtec controller and it turns off on car retarted huh ! thats what i said but thats how it is. Its the vafc right by apexi usa if it is then this is right.
Have you tried tuning or a street tune? Adjust the vtec to engage at 1000 one the first run and then change it to 8000 on the second run,when you feel the smooths cross over, you should beable to find the best cross over.... also 4500 seems to low to engage into vtec, I have mine set at 5500 on uberdata with ctr cams where I again an extra 4hp when vtec cross over
