The dealer service dept may have the key that fits, and you can just 4-lug it home.

There is a wheel lock removal tool, but I don't know where you can get one or if just anyone can buy it.

If they are Honda/Acura, it's as simple as paying them a visit and have them check which lock it is, removing the current one and ordering you a new peice.

the dealer has a kit of all honda locks. if they are aftermarket thats another story. you can always hammer a socket onto them but probably going to mess the rim up.they also make reverse thread sockets meant for removing locks.

It's an unfortunate thing, but those things are crazy easy to take off. Just talk to your mechanic or any tow truck driver. They've got the right socket to use. It has a bunch of blades that spiral inwards ... you just place it over the lug, lightly tap it with the end of your wrench to set it, and presto, use as a normal socket ... off in a second. No effort. This is why those wheel locks are useless.

yeah, i just ran into the same problem with my girls car, she lost the key as well. i borrowed one of the reverse thread keys, but when i looked at the car, the lugs are basicaly the opposite as any ive seen before, instead of your socket going on the outside of the lug, it goes inside. thus not working. now i have to track down the right key, or risk mangling some stuff.

if you purchased your car brand new, you can reorder master key just look around for serial number from packaging. otherwise, go to dealer or what other suggested. its only 80ft/tq.. just need the right tool

try a gator grip, though it really depends on the type of lock, most can be removed with a gator grip. Though if the lug was tightened with an air-tool....gl, as the gator socket will break before it will turn the luglock.

If you DO buy wheel locks, keep the key in the glove box... it sounds dumb, but I used to have tear up wheel locks all the time (on other people's cars). The socket works, use craftsman cause they will replace them, or the big allen for a 1/2 ratchet, smack it on. If someone wants your car, there is not much you can do except: keep it in a garage, park where you can see it. Any *** witha rollback will back up to it pull it on and drive off with lights going and NOBODY will say a word. Broad daylight.
