How heartless...Who would do a thing like this?
The Backround
So I bought a wrecked Accord to pull the motor and put in my car. After all the trouble of swapping them out I wanted to refresh all the gaskets. (who knows when that was last done) So I start pulling the oil pan, and I found there were bolts that were loose. When I got the oil pan off the car the gasket was brittle and dry. I ended up having to cut parts of it loose.
That sold me on my intuition that the gaskets needed to be replaced. When I went to pull the spark plugs there was a hefty amount of oil in cylinders 2,3 and 4. (I mean a LOT of oil)
My Issue
My problem now is the valve cover gasket is melted onto the valve cover. It took me 20 min (no lie) to get about 6 inches off and thats the only thing stopping me from starting the car. !@#$%^&
My Question
Does anybody have any idea's of how to get this stupid thing off? I cannot see spending an hour of my time after it's taken me a week to swap these motors, just to get stuck on the valve cover!
Who would do this to their Honda?

sounds like a good idea. or pour some gas on it and set it on fire for a while and scrape it out while it's hot.

pyromaniacs...
I couldn't sleep so 5 am this morning I ended up baking it at 220 deg and scraping it out with a screwdriver and a razor. Thanks for the ideas though.
