Acura Chassy Harness in 88 CRX si
I have a complete harness from a 96 integra, engine and chassy harness. When doing my B-series swap into the 88 crx si I am planning on using the integra engine and chassy harness in the crx so everything will be clean obd2.
Has anyone put an integra dash and/or guage cluster into a crx? Could I just change the connectors from the integra harness to the crx guage connectors and plug the integra harness into the crx dash and guage cluster?

the integra harness will not work in a crx. why would you want obd2?......obd2 is stupid emissions bullshit. rethink your plan.
I had contemplated doing a 90-93teg entire harness swap, cool to see someone else attempting it. careful though, you could run into a huge splicing task. especially if there are a lot of different plugs.
I was going to do it for the power mirrors, power windows, and cruise control.
if you are doing it just for a motor swap, you are taking the long way around.

The power doors and cruise control are the only accessories I am interested in.
Using the obd2 harness makes it easy to get running with a p72 ecu and then use the adapter to convert it later to obd1.
This is the harder way, but I think its the right way to do it. I just hope that changing the plug to the guage cluster will be straight forward and that plug will be the only thing keeping the guage from working.
Has anyone had experience with these Innovative Mounts:

I want a mount that isn't as stiff as a Hasport because it vibrates the whole car.

Why wouldn't it work?

it won't plug into any of your components like heater, cluster, clock, and the list goes on, and if you did switch dashes, i believe the harness still covers doors, seatbelts, steering column, all the way back to the fuel pump....its really really really not worth it....like stated before, if its just for the sole purpose of a motor swap, there really isn't anything involved
if you are going to convert to obd1 anyway, the only things you need to add to the si harness are vtec wiring, wires for a secondary o2, and you need an adapter for the obd1 to obd0 distributor. other than that, you just run your old crx injectors with the resistor box, or take the resistor box out and use the new obd2 injectors. then you buy an ecu conversion harness from rywire, and you are done. the conversion harness can be bought with the second o2 wiring and vtec harness already ready to go, and you can buy a obd0 to obd1 conversion for the distributor from him too.
the route you should take, unless you like rediculous wiring projects that will never get finished, is to spend the $190 or whatever it is from rywire to get the ecu conversion harness, the vtec subharness, and the distributor conversion, and youll be plug and play.
like everyone is saying, the integra harness will not work.. it will not make it easier, it will just cause headaches for you and us when you show up here asking about why all your lights are blinking and the car is trying to start itself.

Thanks for all the info so far.
I didnt even know about rywire. I don't have a crx si harness, and thats what started me on this wild goose chase.
Now that I have more info, I'm going to find an 88 crx si engine harness and buy the rywire conversion to b18c for $190.
Thanks for all the help.
P.S. Does anyone need an uncut engine and chassy harness from a 96/98 gsr? I also have a 94 integra rs that I'm parting out.

Is a chassy, anything like a chassis? Sorry I had to. For one I don't see the point for two. It would be way more work than a simple wiring of the motor. I like my engine wired 2004 style, and my car 1989 style, minus a bunch of stuff. It's lighter. The more stuff you get rid of the better. Newer cars have a bunch of extra crap you don't need. Allot more crap to cut out.

Yea, I'm selling the gsr chassis and engine harness and looking for an 88-91 crx si engine harness.

Good job. I got my harness from Rywire. I in no way am affiliated with them, but their harnesses are nice, their customer service is great, and Ryan is a excellent contribution to the CRX community. That is why I have their link in my sig.
