I just had a blown H22A4 swapped out for a H22A. My tech was able to keep the car OBD2. The only problem is after driving for a while the car stops idling. Someone in the Prelude forum said that it could be the map sensor, so I ordered one today but now he is saying that it did not fix the problem. The intake system has alot of build up so I am going to clean it up the EGR Valve, throttle body, and anywhere that may need to be cleaned with carb cleaner and replace the distributor and rotor. Plugs and wires were replaced yesterday and it continued to have the problem.
Aye i had the same problem putting my h22 swap in. I did all that and still did it. It was my throttle cable. It was to tight and it was causing my throttle to stick. Try that and see if that works
If it revs up and down like there is a loop problem, mine did that and we had to replace the fast idle control valve. Honda said it never breaks, so we had to remove it from another h22 motor. Another possibility.
