Default changing expansion valve

well my uncle told me mine is clogged. wondering how hard of a job it is? anyone got step? please help

For starters, you have to drain the system, drop the evaporator housing, swap the expansion valve, pull a vacuum on the system, and refill the system. The drier is usually swapped when you open the system like this. This is slightly over-simplified, but should give you an idea of what is involved.

behind the glovebox, the 2 lines that run into the firewall under the hood lead into the evaporator core (housing), this should give you a general i dea of where its at.
