iight heres the deal, today i went with my girlfriend to look at a car for her. a 1992 plymouth laser turbo awd, when she used to drive a neon. now shes got a 300 awhp for 8,000$ less then what paid for my 00' teggy. Long story short, i cant get shown up like this, please help, how can i get more horsepower safely without going crazy. thinking about turbo but not trying to spend 4g's on a greddy or turbonetics kit....... any suggestions.......

 

there is no other way for decent hp. to even get close to the 300's. ur chick will kick ur ***! haha

yeah but the bottle will not get him even close to the plymouth (300awhp)

 

Anything short of FI (forced induction) will not get you close enough. And turbos cost a lot, quality ones at least. Go to ebay. see what you can find

 

thanks but im not trying to blow my motor with nitrous. i might have to just go turbo but then im gonna have to build the motor up too.

That's relative to the competence level of the tuner.

 

So this wasn't a stock laser was it? I hope it wasn't, if it's "suppose" to make 300hp.

195hp
203 ft-lb tq
integra came with:
170hp
128tq if gsr trim
getting that power wouldn't be that hard. If she has a blow off valve and boost controller and is boosting more then stock, then you will have to do more work. Just think about it, her car may be faster, yours will always looks better. I can't stand the tiny little itty bitty lasers.

Check out turbojesse or boostfed they both have decent turbo sets for under 3000.00 shipped and you can pretty much trust their ****.

go buy a hundred pack of those horsepower sticks and put in your car. its 5 dollar each on ebay.

 

i wouldnt spend any money as of now, that DSM will be sitting on the side of the road within weeks.

haha man what you can do is tell her to race you, but before the race unplug 2 of her spark plug wires haha then put it back after the race.

 

just wait a week. that terrible excuse for a piece of engineering will be broken down within a week and yours will be faster by default. defend your manhood with reliability

 

the only reason i told her to get the car is because im a tech a dodge dealership and we have the software to diag **** on it. as far as gettin an ls1, i just sold my 96 lt1 6speed. so i went with a decent mileage 00' teggy. Stay tuned, after looking on ebay, a turbo kit and build motor will be coming soon, all by me.

Do you have an LS or b18c ? im assuming an LS since you wont say a gsr.

 

horses arnt everything. an 00 teg is infinetly nicer than a 92 plymouth, gsr OR ls.

 

SSAC could be your friend, lol or you could wait for her tranny to go out. That really shouldn't take too long.

 

buy a kit from the classified throw it on and beat her
