XS POWER TURBOS??
i had one at one point, it lasted about 6 miles, never going into boost(hadnt been tuned yet) and the seals went bad, and it started leaking hella oil. and it had a function 7 oil restrictor, and a very good drain line. its your money, your gamble. worst case its $250 to get it rebuilt. http://www.blaastperformance.com

the quality of their products has increased exponetially. i ran a xspower fmic on my eclipse and it was great. fmic plus short route piping, plus 3 ply silicone couplers, plus t bolt clamps plus throttle elbow plus bov flange for $295 shipped. their manis are ok as long as you really reinforce them with braces. their wastegates and bov needs to be torn apart and have the diaphrams lubed every now and then, (just like a lot of greddy type rs) but they work fine.
as far as turbos, i have heard with oil restrictors they are hit and miss, but i have heard too many negatives and not enough positive to warrant purchasing one..

dude, there is a big difference between an intercooler and a turbo. i believe china has mastered non moving parts, but moving parts there still about 20 years behind.

bold statement, how can you be sure? once again though, this is a non moving part also, still not hard to make.

Plenty of people have made decent power on these turbos without fail.

I put one of those turbos on a car ONCE. It lasted all of 1/2 mile (NO BULLSHIT). It spooled ONE time and that was it. Dont waste your money, buy a GOOD brand name turbo.
made 360whp on mine for over 10,000 miles...ive heard bad stories they seem 50/50 to me so take a chance or buy a sure thing and pay 2 or 3 times as much for it, its all up to the buyer
What the hell, just because a guy asks a simple question this thread should get reported and locked? Thats not right...
Yea he can search and find out all the negative things about xspower but why dosnt anybody ever talk about when a person actually makes hp with these turbos!? Yea the turbos may be a hit and miss making all the turbos a 50/50 shot but damn man...I personally know two guys that are running ssac kits and they are running great. One guy has over 300 in a ls and the other has a 408hp gsr. ALL XS POWER.
Whats the cure for the ssac manifold?...you get the mani reinforced and they wont crack...
As for the turbos, if you do happen to get a good one they can actually do good numbers
I bet the only reason you dont see people on ht with xspower kits running great numbers is because if they post it the first post in there thread will be" OMFGZAZ Ur R0n!ng a xsP0W3r K1t?!!?!@shift! YOur s0 St0opid"
And dont get me wrong im not actually supporting xspower, im simply pointing out that nobody should be flamed for asking a ******* question
