i spun a rod bering in a 2000 b18c5....im putin 96 jdm integra type b18c.. what all do i have to do

i spun a rod bering in a b18c5....im putin 96 jdm integra type r b18c what all do i have to do???

i was told i was going to have to change the oil pump assembly,distributor, crank angle sensor ???

IS there any thing i need to know!

You will need to keep your old oil-pump w/ crank sensor (or get a new US one), and your VTEC solenoid w/ VTEC pressure switch (JDM one has no pressure switch). I don't know if the distributor is different or not. You might have to check the plugs when you get the replacement motor...

The intake manifolds are a little different too. The EVAP purge solenoid nipple is in a different place, but I don't know if that matters...

Also, the compression ratio is higher on the JDM motor. I don't know if you'll have to get the car tuned or what because of this. I probably would...

Why not just run JDM ecu w/ it instead of all the leg work??

He'll need a conversion harness since his ITR is OBD2b...
