b20 into 91da
Hey this is weird. On this post you have a B20 but on the other post (more recent) you dont know if you should get a b18b or b20. This is strange to me. Honestly you don't sound like you know much about them to me. IF you get one of them or if you already have a b20 have someone that knows what they're doing. Or do ALOT of research. Thats what I did for my B16 and I couldn't be happier. You learn a little more about the motors doing them yourself. So just search for the specific motor you want, or someone elses build to see how they did it or anything. Don't go into something not knowing how it will turn out cus it'll kick you in the ***. So play it safe and get it done right.
hey i just recently did this swap on my car...what i would do is only use the b20 short block and get rid of all the other stuff like the head and IM cause thats where all the sensors are diff. all u need to worry about then is connecting what sensors the stock b requires. the awesome part is the motors are basically the same other than the bore size. outside is basically identical. one thing i can tell u is that the b20 has a crank position sensor that a b18 doesnt...so u just leave the sensor there. ne ?'s hit me up.
