Default LSV CAM QUESTION

Last weekend I got my lsv crx running just stock b18a bottom and stock b16 head chipped p28 type r map now i know what is really hurting me right now is the ls tranny but it is what it is. The cams really blow as well now will a set of type r cams be noticable performance wise? skunk 2 would be nice but money wise type r cams are cheaper... give me your thoughts??? and experiences

Honestly, the type R map is the first thing wrong. With a stock bottom end, the compression is so low I think ITR or aftermarket cams are actually going to slow the car down. Get a good tune on the car for what it has and go from there.
