Default spark plug wires + mini me swap = plus is too short?!

i just finished my mini me swap on my ef and tried to start it up and noticed i wasn't getting any spark. i shook the plug wire around a little bit and it had alot of play. i was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with this and what they did to fix it. i compared to another set of Z6 plug wires and they were exactly the same. any help would be great.

I've always used the plug wires that matched the head. What brand are the plug wires in question?
