I've got a rattleing alternator (97 EX civic), the dealer says its the bearings. Is it possible to get it fixed or do i have to pay 400+ to get it installed? Is there anywhere i can get a inexpensive alternator? Please help...

 

i have an alternator for a 93 civic dx in my garage. just parts left over from when we took the engine out for a swap.. ill even have it tested by trak auto to make sure it all works correctly still.. i could let it go if the price is right..

 

nah, just check some auto part stores, the rebuild one is around 60-80 for civic. and u have to give them the core.
