88 crx si distributor on a 91
I already searched but wanted to clarify this issue before I pick up an 88 si dizzy for my 91 si.
The part #for an 88 dizzy is: (TD-02U)
https://www.hondapartsdeals.co...+0501
The part number for a 91 is: (TD-18U)
https://www.hondapartsdeals.co...+0501
I KNOW for a fact that the 88 d16a6 had some subtle differences from other years, namely intake size and TDC position. But can I be certain that an 88 si dizzy will work 100% with my 91, and I don't mean will it just run the car, but will the ignition timing be at spec??

Bump for a definite answer (I know this is a relatively old post) but I need to know since I want to buy a backup dizzy off an 88 for my 91.
I know that the 88 d16a6 has different cam TDC settings but does that mean the dizzys are different? Thanks.
