Default Double Din in a 99 Prelude?

Hey, I'm thinking about putting one of those double din navigation/dvd players in my Prelude but all the sites say it won't fit. Do they just mean it wont fit perfectly or wont fit at all? And if its that it wont fit perfectly, do you think it'd be a pretty easy job to fit it in and still have it look nice? I've never seen one of these units in person so I dont really know how big they are. Thanks for your help!

Just to clarify I'm talking about units like the Eclipse AVN5500.

scosche and metra show no double din kit ,so i would say google a little more and if you cant find a kit you might be able to make one work. the opening should be big enough to fit a dd such as the Eclipse.

Yes it will, 88-01 Preludes all use the same kit for single din W/pocket, single din, [iso mount] W/pocket and double din, the Scosche DD kit is the HA1566B. 94
