It wont come out!!!!!!!
I have the piping for cold air. Underneath the stockairbox there is a plastic box, rightbehind the bumper, and one bolt is holding it in and i cannot find out where to disconect it!! Please tell me how you all got rid of this>
By the way i was able to remove that same box from a 99 civic ex with no problem and a 97 GSR without any issues. Just not my Rex.

..I took my bumper off and tore the box out
haha..the bolts on top of the box though..if that helps. its only held by a bolt in a small plastic tab..

This may sound retarded but... how did you take off the bumper and how long did it take etc. Yes i got all the bolts except the one on the side facing the engine bay.

just unscrew part of the wheel well splash gard, peel back a some to get to the box, take out all the bolts you can and that last one that you cannot, leave it in there. Then just yank and tear it out of there like it was someone you don't like. Works everytime and just breaks that mounting point on the box, doesn't hurt anything.
