is it normal for the si to have a slight whinining sound in the tranny. nothing really loud very faint but enough to be noticed if you were driving and then decelarating at any speed. My brother say its just normal sound from the clutch assembly. I only got 2k on the car.

Yes.

RSX's share a similar transmission noise.... as do S2000's but they are quite a bit more noticeable.

Nothing to be concerned with.

 

that's a relief. I would hate to see what Honda would do to it to find out what it was..lol !!!
